Madden 22 TOTW 12 Players Revealed Including POTW Patrick Surtain, Hero & LTD Cards
Each week, EA’s Madden video game releases a new Team of the Week featuring star players from past and present real-world NFL games. We’re up to Week 12 in the NFL now, with several teams starting to battle for playoff spots as they reach the home stretch. This past weekend saw several key performances, including one from the Denver Broncos’ Patrick Surtain II. He nabs the Player of the Week honors for Madden 22 TOTW 12. Here’s the latest on his item and others, along with predictions.
Madden 22 TOTW 12: Patrick Surtain POTW, Hero and LTD cards revelaed
After some fantastic football this past weekend, it’s time for Team of the Week. Coming in hot for Madden 22 TOTW 12 player cards is the new Patrick Surtain POTW item. Surtain recorded five tackles and two interceptions with a touchdown for the Broncos this past Sunday against the Chargers. Denver went on to pick up the 28-13 victory and moved to 6-5 in the highly-competitive AFC.
His new Player of the Week card (below) will be a 94 OVR with Man to Man Archetype. It includes 95 Jumping, 94 Man Coverage, 94 Acceleration, 93 Zone Coverage, 93 Agility, and 93 Speed, amongst other great attributes.
Three other items revealed for Madden’s Team of the Week 12 lineup are player cards for previous performances in late November. The Limited-Availability card for packs this week is for Jason Pierre-Paul, who gets a 95 OVR Speed Rusher archetype. His card brings 95 Finesse Moves, 95 Play Recognition, 94 Acceleration, 91 Strength, and 89 Speed.
The Offensive and Defensive Hero player items are also revealed. Former Vikings wide receiver Doug Baldwin gets the offensive item for his performance on November 29, 2015, against the Steelers. Former Eagles linebacker Seth Joyner gets a throwback item for his November 22, 1992 game against the Giants.
Which other players are in Team of the Week?
Most people were predicting Leonard Fournette as this week’s Player of the Week. So for offense, it would be surprising if Tampa Bay’s back doesn’t get a Madden 22 TOTW 12 item. Fournette helped the Bucs to a 38-31 victory over the Colts with his 100 yards rushing, 31 yards receiving, and four TDs. Check the highlights below, because Fournette certainly put in some work to get his team that win.
Additional players to look for in terms of offensive performances are rookie receiver Jaylen Waddle and Tee Higgins. Along with Fournette, Elijah Mitchell had a strong game on the ground, recording 133 yards rushing and a touchdown, along with a receiving touchdown.
On defense, expect to see Ronnie Harrison and Shaq Barrett. Harrison played well for the Cleveland Browns, getting 11 tackles, an interception, and pass defended, although he was on the losing side of things. The Buccaneers’ Barrett had five tackles, two sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery on Sunday.
The rest of the Madden 22 TOTW 12 items arrive in-game on Tuesday, November 30. They’ll hit Madden’s Ultimate Team mode in the form of cards inside packs, or available at the Auction House. In addition, look for new challenges to arrive for Coins and other TOTW items.
