Fortnite Battle Royale players are currently enjoying a completely different season from anything we had seen before. For the first time in the history of the game, Epic Games has turned off the building mechanic. This is what has separated Fortnite from its competition, yet the developer decided to completely disable it.
This game-changing move has resulted in positive feedback from the community. Less skilled players finally have a chance to win many games and show off how good their aim is. On the other side, many pro players have praised the change as well and have asked Epic to make it a permanent mode. The current Fortnite season keeps getting better and better as the developer decided to release a no-build tournament with prizes!
Fortnite is getting a tournament with no building
Fortnite tournaments are all about tough competitive play and quick builds. In most cases, players who are amazing builders win them, but the next tournament is going to be different. on just the fourth day of the new season, Epic Games is releasing a no-building tournament with prizes!
On March 23, Epic Games has announced a new Icon Series skin, the popular snowboarder Chloe Kim. However, before the skin comes out in the Item Shop, players will have a chance to win it in the special cup. The cup starts on Thursday, March 24, and building will be disabled during it.
Those who want to win the Fortnite skin of the snowboarding champion will have to rank high in their matches. Even though there is no building, placement is still the most important scoring factor. Each elimination rewards players with a single point, but getting a Victory Royale will be worth 25 points!
The Fortnite cup will be available in the Duos mode and players have to check their Compete screen for more details. In this tab, Epic Games posted important information, such as specific timing for each region.
The skin is amazing
The Chloe Kim Fortnite skin has four different styles! Not only that, but players will be able to also purchase her back bling, a pickaxe, a dragon-shaped glider, and an emote. Furthermore, there is a loading screen players can win during the tournament or buy with the Item Shop bundle.
