Although Gearbox didn’t have a holiday-themed event for Borderlands 3, to follow on from their Halloween event earlier this year, the studio did recently run a promotion called “Gift of Mayhem“. In addition to holiday discounts on the game itself, the Borderlands 3 Gift of Mayhem featured daily SHiFT codes which players could use to unlock in-game items. If you missed these when they went out, you do actually still have time to redeem them; all eight codes are valid until the 10th of January.
The Borderlands 3 Gift of Mayhem SHiFT Codes
All told, the eight Borderlands 3 Gift of Mayhem codes give players 4 new ECHO skins, a new Vault Hunter skin, a Weapon Trinket, a Legendary Assault Rifle, and 3 Gold Keys. For most players, the most important are likely to be Juliet’s Dazzle and the Festive Vestments; after all, a new weapon and new character skins are a bit more tangible than ECHO skins and weapon trinkets. However, 3 Gold Keys are also a valuable gift. Each opening of the Golden Chest aboard Sanctuary III does have the potential to include good loot, of course. The eight codes are as follows.

The Borderlands 3 Gift of Mayhem codes are valid until the 10th of January, so be sure to redeem them while you can. Like all SHiFT codes, you can redeem them in-game, or via the SHiFT website. If you’re returning to the game after the break, it’s worth noting that the first story DLC; Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, is now available to download and play. Additionally, an upcoming event which starts on the 31st of December will allow players to do the Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite solo for the first time ever. However, this event will only be available until the 16th of January.
