The DOOM mods continue popping up day after day. It is hilarious how creative people can be with the original DOOM engine. We have already seen many different DOOM mods making their appearance to entertain fans and then be forgotten after the next one appears. This time, another DOOM mod appeared, but its only purpose was to make fun of all these DOOM mods.
It is unbelievable how many different things we have seen created on the original DOOM engine. Only recently, there were two more mods added to the already massive list. The mods vary from a Super Mario themed DOOM to the brand new one that replaced Doomguy with a Viking-looking guy. However, a gaming journalist thought it would be cool to tease people who are creating these mods.
Andy Kelly who is a writer at The Guardian, PC Gamer, Kotaku and many others, recently made a hilarious tweet that even the official DOOM Twitter account loved. Of course, it was another mod based on the DOOM engine, but it had many differences with the ones we are used to. Its name could easily be the Seinfeld mod. For those who are not familiar with Seinfeld, it is a famous TV sitcom that ran from 1989 to 1998.

As you can see, the monsters are replaced by actual people who were the main protagonists of Seinfeld. The sounds are completely different while the quotes you are hearing come from the original sitcom. Most of them are quotes that have remained popular even today. What is funnier than that though is the fact that the official DOOM Twitter account chose to re-tweet the joke, passing it on for more people to see it.
We get your point, and we agree with you. There are too many DOOM mods. How about making a DOOM mod like this though for real so we can actually play it? We would love to try a troll mod for once for a change.
