Apex Legends Players Are Exploiting a Glitch to Hide in Kings Canyon Rocks
Have you recently suspected opponents of cheating while you were fighting in Kings Canyon in Apex Legends? If so, you may feel vindicated by a recent video which shows that there is a glitch in Kings Canyon right now. It could very well be that you have been the victim of other players exploiting that glitch to hide inside Kings Canyon rocks.
What to Know About the Bug Affecting the Kings Canyon Rocks
A Reddit user called itsjustblob posted a video which shows the glitch in Kings Canyon.
The rock face in question is near Slum Lakes. The bug makes it possible to get inside the rock face. Once inside, the player hiding is completely concealed by the rocks. Players outside are unable to see that person. Moreover, if you stand outside the rock face and try shooting through it, you won’t hit your concealed target. But if you are inside the rock, you can fire through to players who are outside of it and hit them.
As of the time of this writing, Respawn seems unaware that the problem exists. But hopefully now that this video is making rounds, they’ll take note and add it to their to-do list. In the meantime, just watch out when you are near Slum Lakes in Kings Canyon. If shots seem like they are firing at you out of nowhere, you might be dealing with someone hidden in the rock face. If necessary, you can go in after them.
