Apex Legends isn’t done breaking records and continuing to improve the game with patches. We now know the official number of players that the title has reached in just one month. Apex Legends now has more than 50 million players in total. This is across all three platforms it is available on and around the world. That number is only set to grow from here.
In just one month, Apex Legends has more than 50 million players. That is crazy considering its closest competitor, Fortnite, only had that same number of players in a far longer period of time. This essentially means that it is currently growing at a much faster rate than Fortnite did initially. But that doesn’t mean that Apex Legends is the king of Battle Royale games just yet.
The Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment took to its official Twitter account to announce the 50 million players. However, the game still has a long way to go in order to reach the more than 200 million players around the world who have checked out Fortnite Battle Royale at some point.
In addition, PUBG claims to have around 400 million players in its game as well. These are insane numbers that Apex Legends still has a way to reach. Thankfully for fans of the game, it is totally possible for it to reach it. It is worth noting that it has achieved more than 50 million players and it’s not even on mobile or Nintendo Switch yet.
Also, Apex Legends isn’t available in major regions like China just yet either. Bringing the massively successful game to China and other platforms are sure to make the 50 million players only rise higher and higher from there. Until then, though, we will have to wait and see what the developer has in store next for the game.
