Apex Legends Season 2 has now launched, and with the launch of that new season comes the Apex Legends Season 2 Battle Pass. According to Respawn, the studio listened to fan feedback from Season 1; as such, the new season’s content, including the Battle Pass, is aiming to offer much more. This ranges from new weekly and daily challenges to more legendary items than in the previous season.
The Apex Legends Season 2 Battle Pass
“We’ve heard you loud and clear,” says the new Season 2 Battle Pass trailer; “and are very excited to bring you the full details of our new Battle Pass.” First of all, the Season 2 Battle Pass includes new daily and weekly challenges for players to complete. The rewards for these challenges vary, but offer players a way to more quickly unlock new levels of the Battle Pass. Battle Pass rewards in Season 2 include Apex Packs, new Legend and weapon skins, Skydive Emotes, XP boosts, music packs, loadscreens, and crafting materials.
Of course, it also includes new Legendary items; plenty more than were included in Season 1, in fact. The first of these is the Intimidator, a legendary weapon skin for the Spitfire. This skin is available to all players when they purchase the Season 2 Battle Pass. The new trailer showcases several more of the available Legendary items, like the Jade Tiger Octane skin, Prince of Darkness Caustic skin, and the Rampage skin for the R-301.
The Season 2 Battle Pass also introduces three wholly new content categories to Apex Legends. The first of these are Music Packs which will allow players to customise the soundtrack that plays during the game. The second is artwork which players can set as their loading screen backgrounds. Finally, the third are Skydive Emotes, which allow players to perform emotes as they drop into a match.
The Season 2 Battle Pass is available in-game for 950 Apex coins. As with Season 1, players can also purchase a Battle Pass Bundle. This costs 2,800 Apex coins and unlocks the first 25 levels automatically.
