Apex Legends Season 5 went live earlier today, bringing with it a new Legend, the new Season Quest, new map changes, and more… not to mention a range of tweaks to both Legends and weapons in the Season 5 launch update. Accompanying the launch, as per usual, players can also now get their hands on the Season 5 Battle Pass.
The Apex Legends Season 5 Battle Pass
Featuring a range of cosmetics themed for the aesthetic of Season 5, ‘Fortune’s Favour,’ the new Battle Pass is much like those of Apex Legends’ previous seasons. You can purchase the standard Battle Pass for 950 Apex Coins. This will unlock for you immediate access to the Legendary ‘Retrofitted’ Hemlok Skin, as well as three new Legend skins; the ‘Silver Specter’ Rare Wraith skin, ‘Gilded Claw’ Rare Bloodhound skin, and ‘Death Etching’ Rare Revenant skin.
If you want to get a headstart on the Battle Pass, however, you can pay for the Battle Pass Bundle. Costing 2,800 Apex Coins (down from 4,700), this bundle immediately unlocks the first 25 levels and their corresponding rewards. You’ll get all four of the bonus skins listed above when you purchase the bundle, of course. However, you’ll also immediately unlock the ‘Fool’s Gold’ Legendary Mirage skin, which would normally be unlocked at Tier 25.
If you want to get your hands on the other cosmetics which are featured in the new Battle Pass, you’ll simply have to get started on completing it. These offerings include the ‘Skymarshal’ Legendary Bangalore skin and the ‘Precision Caliber’ Legendary Reactive Wingman skin, both of which are shown off in the trailer. Beyond the flashiest of the new cosmetics, the Battle Pass also features a range of additional content; Music Packs, Loading Screens, Quips, Gun Charms, and Skydive Emotes, among other things. If you want to get your hands on these, why not start hunting for the new Daily Treasure Packs and kill two birds with one stone. After all, that way you’ll be progressing your Battle Pass and Season Quest at the same time.
