Ahead of the launch tomorrow of Apex Legends Season 6, Respawn has released a new trailer showcasing the new season’s Battle Pass. The video reveals some of the new content which players can expect to launch as part of the new season, including cosmetics for Rampart.
The Apex Legends Season 6 Battle Pass
Apex Legends Season 6 is due to launch tomorrow, bringing with it major map updates for World’s Edge, as well as a new Legend; Rampart. The season is also set to introduce a new crafting mechanic which will enable players to craft gear rather than simply relying on what they are able to find around the map. Accompanying the launch, of course, is a brand-new Battle Pass.
Today’s Apex Legends Season 6 Battle Pass trailer gives players a glimpse of what they can expect. The new content ranges across the usual set of categories, of course, from Legend skins to weapon cosmetics, emotes, voice quips, and more. As per usual though, it’s the Legend skins which draw the most attention. Examples like the Roll Cage Sentinel skin or Road Warrior Bloodhound skin showcase some of what will be on offer. However, Season 6 will also be introducing a brand-new category; Holo-Sprays. Distinct from regular Sprays, the new Holo-Sprays are holographic images which project from a deployable disc.
Described by Respawn as ‘deployable markers,’ players will be able to drop these Holo-Sprays anywhere. Because they ‘pop-up,’ Holo-Sprays are also much more noticeable than regular Sprays. A variety of Holo-Sprays will be available with the launch of Season 6, with many themed around the individual Legends. Players can also look forward to new Skydive Emotes, Loading Screens, and so on. As per usual, the Apex Legends Season 6 Battle Pass will be available in two versions. The bundle version, which costs more, will allow players to instantly unlock the first 25 levels. (Just as with previous Battle Pass bundles in past seasons.)
