Apex Legends Solo: Can You Play Apex By Yourself?

There is so much content for fans and players to enjoy right now regarding Apex Legends from checking out our tier list for the best and worst characters as well as the best guns in the game. But there are some players who still have yet to jump into the game yet. They are wondering if you can play Apex Legends Solo.

After all, most other Battle Royale games like Blackout and Fortnite allow you to play alone without a squad. But is Apex Legends the same? Can you play Apex Legends Solo? If so, how? These are the questions that we are going to answer in this guide. Without further ado, let’s dive right in and take a look.

Can You Play Apex Legends Solo?

Apex Legends Solo

Let’s go ahead and get the answer out of the way so that we don’t waste any more of your time. While you can queue up by yourself in the main lobby of the game, you can’t play Apex Legends by yourself. The game is always going to try to queue you up with up to two other teammates. This can be annoying if you prefer solo play like us.

However, you can queue up Apex Legends Solo. You don’t have to get together a group to play it. But, unfortunately, as of right now, this Battle Royale game only has one mode and that’s trios. The game is built and only currently allows for teams of three. Now, that doesn’t mean you will always get a team of three.

There is one case in our 30 or so matches thus far in which we were by ourselves without a single teammate. However, that was most likely because the other two people left before the start and not because of a lack of players. So, don’t go betting on that happening. If you’re an Apex Legends Solo player, we recommend just ignoring your team and doing your own thing.
