New Apex Legends Stories From the Outlands Episode Debuts Tomorrow
Another new episode of Respawn’s ongoing Stories From the Outlands series is coming tomorrow; the second of the series to launch in 2021 and arriving only three weeks after the release of “Fight Night“. This new episode, “Good as Gold,” is very likely to reveal the next character coming to Apex Legends in the game’s upcoming season.
Stories From the Outlands – Good as Gold
Thus far, Respawn has not revealed any details about tomorrow’s episode other than its title, and a single screenshot. The most recent episode of Stories From the Outlands – Fight Night – focused on the backstory of Pathfinder. It was one of several episodes to focus on an existing character rather than reveal a new one, but tomorrow’s episode is likely to be the latter. After all, the launch of Apex Legends Season 8 is due relatively soon. Respawn has often released a new Stories From the Outlands episode shortly before the launch of a new season in order to reveal the new Legend coming in the season.
As per usual, the studio is staying tight-lipped when it comes to content for the new season. It was recently confirmed that Respawn has no plans to implement a solo mode anytime soon, but aside from that, no details have been revealed. However, if tomorrow’s release follows the same pattern as past installments, Respawn is likely to release more information relatively quickly. Indeed, Season 8 could launch before the end of January, or perhaps in the first week of February, if this is indeed a teaser for the new season.
Whatever the case, “Good as Gold” is due to debut tomorrow on YouTube and social media. The video will go live at 8:00 AM PST / 4:00 PM GMT. As such, fans will have to wait until tomorrow morning to find out what’s on the horizon for Apex Legends.
