Apex Legends Wraith Bug Which Grants Invulnerability Will Soon be Fixed

Around two weeks ago, following the launch of Apex Legends Season 2, players discovered a new bug which can make players who exploit it practically invincible. This particular Apex Legends Wraith bug is reportedly not difficulty to do if you know how. As such, players have been raising it with Respawn since discovery. While a fix isn’t here yet, the studio has now confirmed that one is coming.

The Apex Legends Wraith Bug and When a Fix is Coming

The invincibility-granting Apex Legends Wraith bug was most likely inadvertently introduced into the game by the Season 2 patch. Essentially, the bug allows players who are playing as Wraith to use her Q ability “Into the Void” without a cooldown. This ability puts her into a temporary state where she cannot be killed. By activating this ability over and over again, a player can become effectively invincible. The bug was shared on YouTube by a player who discovered it, without explaining how to activate it. (In the hopes that Respawn would take notice.)

Apex Legends Wraith Bug Getting a Fix Soon

Certainly, the development team seemed to have done so. Although Respawn didn’t address the issue in their most recent Reddit Check-in, a developer did mention it in a subsequent comment. A member of the development team responded to a comment on Reddit asking about the glitch with; “Wraith Q fix is coming”. There’s no mention of how long it might take to arrive. However, hopefully if the studio can confirm that a fix is already in the works, then it won’t be long before it’s implemented. However, fans may have to wait until the next patch.

The Apex Legends Season 2 update was one of the largest that the studio has released for the game. While it did bring a lot of new content to the game, it does also seem to have brought some unfortunate glitches and bugs along with it. Respawn recently had to offer an explanation of what the ‘code:leaf’ and ‘code:net’ error messages are, for instance.
