It was only a week ago that Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey live events would be starting soon. Well, today is the day. Depending on where you are and what the day is, you’ll be able to access Odyssey’s very first live event this October 16th.
As mentioned by Ubisoft themselves, these events will help you gain Orichalcum. Orichalcum is a precious blue currency that helps you buy certain items, such as legendaries or epics. You may not think that you’d need all this currency, but if you want to walk around Ancient Greece looking like a god/goddess? It’s necessary. If you find yourself wanting to spend Orichalcum, you’ll need to speak to a gentleman named Sargon, who you’ll find by Pilgrim’s Landing in Phokis.
But first thing’s first. How do you take part in the live events so you can get all this precious loot?
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Live Events: How To Take Part
My mother used to say that it isn’t the ‘winning’ that matters, but the taking part. At the time I thought that was a load of BS, and as it turns out, I was only sort of right. Participating in an Assassin’s Creed Odyssey live events do matter, and the only real winner is those who manage to complete the tasks given out.
To do so, you’ll need to head on down to the quest boards that scattered around cities. Or if you’re lazy like me, fast travel to the Adrestia and activate the quest board there. There you’ll see the quest given out for the live event, usually indicated by having an Orichalcum icon at the side. Select that and you’ll soon be on your way to earning that lovely currency.
These live events can range from taking down Epic Mercenaries to raiding Epic Ships, so make sure you’re actively participating in the right event otherwise you may miss out.
