Following the recently-announced delay to the release date of Battlefield 2042, which pushed the game’s launch back to November 19th, DICE hasn’t confirmed any details about its upcoming BETA event. However, the dates for this planned Beta appear to have now been leaked online, revealing that it could be starting very soon.
The Battlefield 2042 Leaked Beta Dates
The source of this latest leak appears to be Chinese website Bilibili, where a seemingly-official image recently surfaced. The image, pictured below, appears to list the Battlefield 2042 Beta dates. The veracity of the leak has yet to be confirmed, of course, but it does appear convincing. Of course, fans should take it with a grain of salt, like any apparent online leak. (At least until the actual dates are confirmed by DICE.) However, it does look possible – even likely – that this leak will prove accurate.
According to the leak, the Battlefield 2042 Beta is due to start on the 6th of October. It will apparently be a four-day event, running until the 9th of October. If true, this means that the Beta is only just over one week away. Given that the information was minimal, and translated from Chinese, fans should bear in mind that the dates may prove to have a different meaning. For instance, it’s possible that the 6th could mark the start of closed Beta access, with the general public then gaining access on the 9th. (As opposed to the Beta running from the 6th to the 9th.)
Fans should also note that, given Battlefield 2042’s recent release date delay, it’s possible that the Beta is also delayed. If so, it’s possible that the leaked image is out-of-date, if it was created prior to the delay. In this case, the dates may no longer be accurate. However, if not, DICE is likely to reveal the official dates very soon indeed. As such, fans shouldn’t have to wait long to learn the truth of the matter.
