Battlefield 5 is due to release in mid November, less than two months from now. DICE isn’t planning to run any more open betas before launch; instead, the studio is devoting time to polishing the game as much as they can and addressing feedback from the first open beta. Recently, the studio published a complete list of all of the weapons, vehicles, etc. that will feature in the game at launch. Included in that list were all of the Battlefield 5 gadgets and reinforcements.
The Battlefield 5 Gadgets Featuring at Launch
“Help out squad mates with crates full of ammo or medical supplies.” explains DICE, above their list of gadgets; “Or bring mayhem to the enemy team’s soldiers and vehicles with TNT or Tellermines. A clever use of gadgets can rack up tons of points for you – and even win the match for your team.”
Gadgets in Battlefield 5 are keyed to the different classes; Assault, Medic, Recon, and Support. Many of these gadgets will start already unlocked by default, such as the Medical Pouch. Others can be unlocked during gameplay. DICE is also likely to add more as their Tides of War post-launch cycle begins. The full list of 15 Battlefield 5 gadgets is as follows:
- Ammunition Crate

The Battlefield 5 Reinforcements Featuring at Launch
Reinforcements are a major part of Battlefield 5’s battles. Indeed, used wisely, they have the ability to change the course of a game; “If the situation is dire,” says DICE; “and you have enough Squad Points collected – you can call in mighty Reinforcements. Two dreaded heavy tanks, for instance, or the Rocket Strikes that will send enemies flying and XP your way. Play it tactical and go for the Supply Canister Drops, full of health and ammunition to your team.”
There will be 7 reinforcements in Battlefield 5 at launch, ranging from special vehicles to missile strikes and supply drops. No doubt DICE will add more in post-launch content. The full list of reinforcements is as follows:
- V-1 Rocket
