The official game teaser site was unveiled last week after players finally managed to unlock a “zombie door” in-game that lead to a secret message being found inside via dripping pipe — it spelled out a message in Morse code that brought players to a teaser site. It’s now displaying the Battlefield V logo and imagery, as well as a directive to check out the official livestream on May 23, which The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah will host alongside EA DICE developers and other members of the Battlefield V team.
#ad The rumors are true (rumors that I started, but still…) I will be hosting the @Battlefield Live Reveal on Wed, May 23rd. Catch it streaming live on the #Battlefield YouTube. V EXCITING! pic.twitter.com/7B3fpTpQ6x

There have been rumors flying around that Battlefield V could potentially feature a Battlefield Battle Royale mode this time around, which might not be a great idea given the fact that the genre is reaching full saturation at this point. But it could end up that we see it anyway, just like EA has been teasing that Battlefield will “never be the same” and other taglines like that.
We’ll have to wait and see what happens, so check back on May 23 after the livestream and full reveal and we’ll make sure you’re fully up to date on everything there is to know about the latest entry in the Battlefield series.
