Battlefield V is releasing this October on Playstation 4, Xbox One and, as always, PC. While consoles are bound to support the game perfectly, it’s always a struggle for low-end PC owners to figure out whether the new title will be playable on their system. The Battlefield V minimum requirements are in though and they don’t look so bad.
The Battlefield V minimum requirements come straight out of the game’s Origin page, which is now updated to let players know what the game needs to be playable. This will give you a sense of what you’ll need in case your system is not that powerful and what settings of graphics you can choose when the time comes.
Here are the Battlefield V minimum requirements, as they are detailed on Origin:
OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
Processor (AMD): AMD FX-6350
Processor (Intel): Core i5 6600K
Memory: 8GB RAM
Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon™ HD 7850 2GB
Graphics card (NVIDIA): nVidia GeForce® GTX 660 2GB
DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
Hard-drive space: 50GB
As you can see for yourself, you won’t need a “beast” PC to be able to play Battlefield V. Where a system may not meet the requirements is the RAM usage, which is set at 8GB. Most low-end PCs have 8GB RAM in total so it might be a struggle for the system to be able to play the game smoothly.
Overall, GPU, CPU and hard drive space requirements are understandable and can even be met by low-end systems, meaning that with a setting of low-medium graphics you can play Battlefield V smoothly and with no problems.
What’s amazing is that all Battlefield V minimum requirements seem super low for a game of its caliber. With all that graphic fidelity, explosions and huge war battles, fans would be understanding if those requirements were pinched up a bit. Either way we are glad to see this isn’t happening.
