When it comes to soundtracks, Battlefield includes the best war music to “dress” your battles. Battlefield 1 really stood up to its name with the Battlefield V music being the next addition to our gaming playlists. With a strong cast of composers and a promising main theme, we expect its soundtrack to be at its best when the game releases.
During its closed beta, Battlefield V showed the community of the franchise that it can stand tall to the expectations and deliver big when it launches in October. One factor that wasn’t much discussed about the title so far, is its use of soundtrack. The Battlefield V music is composed by Johan Söderqvist and Patrik Andrén, the same ones behind the amazing soundtrack of Battlefield 1.
Listening to the main theme of Battlefield V, which is composed by the one and only Hans Zimmer, you can pretty much tell what DICE is trying to achieve. All the revealed Battlefield V music scores are slow, almost silent with beautiful “ups and downs” of orchestra music. That’s something you would expect from an epic fantasy TV series like Game of Thrones but it suits the game perfectly. Why is that though?

Battlefield V is not bound to be a happy game, not even an uplifting one at that. Given its World War 2 setting, the Battlefield V music has to be sad and “dress” the gameplay perfectly. That’s where it all fits together.
A segment of the game where its music will shine is the War Stories single player campaign. The War Stories are individual narrative storylines about emotional incidents to different people, meaning that the soundtrack behind it will be unique and apropriate to each theme. We’ve already heard some French themed music possibly for use in the related war story but all will be clear when we know more about the game. For the time being, sit tight and enjoy some amazing epic music.
