Battlefield V is stepping up its game this year with 8 multiplayer modes, 3 of which are brand new. While we don’t know the names and objectives of some of them, the fact that DICE is putting the effort to create a title that big.
Unlike its FPS competitor, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Battlefield V is shipping this October with eight different multiplayer modes, including Conquest, Domination, Frontlines, Team deathmatch and Breakthrough along with 3 new modes, whose names are not announced yet.
The information comes from Reddit, where a fan has revealed that an article found on the Battlefield 1 menu details the existence of eight modes. Here’s the whole statement:
Confirmed modes at launch are Conquest, Domination, Frontlines, Team deathmatch and Breakthrough as well as three yet to be revealed modes. Source is an article you can read on the Battlefield 1 in-game home menu detailing BFV modes. These modes are stand-alone outside of Grand operations and airborne and final stand are confirmed to be in Grand operations only.
What could those other three modes be? We already know that a Battlefield V battle royale mode is coming, marking one down from this list. Fans are hoping for a tank mode, where you’ll be able to use ground vehicles more and rely on heavy weaponry.
Another theory is that a complete Airborne mode could be introduced in Battlefield V. Dogfights in the upcoming title are now more immersive than ever and the fact that DICE has revamped the whole system might point out the existense of a mode focusing on that alone.
Fans have been asking for a Rush mode for a long time now, something that has been missing from the latest Battlefield titles. Could DICE be adding such a mode to hype the game even more? We expect mode information about the announced modes to be revealed soon.
