When Bethesda released Fallout 4 back in 2015, they included an impressive, wearable and functional Pip-Boy with the Collector’s Edition. This time around, Bethesda is including a wearable Power Armor helmet with Fallout 76’s Power Armor Edition. However, fans who were hoping for another Pip-Boy release are in luck. The studio has now announced a new collectible, sold on its own, that is now available to pre-order.
Exciting news for #Fallout fans!
The #PipBoy2000 has just been announced & is available at GAME for pre-order now as a UK Retail Exclusive!

The Pip-Boy 2000 MK VI
The announcement came courtesy of Dave Webb, head of retail at GAME; a high-street gaming retailer in the UK which has retail exclusivity for the new item. The Pip-Boy can also be purchased from Bethesda directly. The new Pip-Boy is a little different to the one which released with Fallout 4. This item is actually a construction kit; very much in tune with Fallout 76’s emphasis on building and crafting. Unfortunately, it doesn’t feature any electronic functionality or connect with Fallout 76, but it is far more detailed than the Fallout 4 Pip-Boy. It’s definitely designed as a collectible and display piece.
“Using the Vault-Tec tools provided,” states the product description, “and following the fully illustrated instructions, you will see how easy it is to combine fabric, moulded and cast parts, metal bolts, grilles, screws and cables to create one of the most important pieces of Vault-Tec equipment. Take care and learn well; your survival just might depend upon it.”
The new Pip-Boy is also a different model to the previous version; the Pip-Boy 2000 Mk VI, to be exact. This is the version which features in Fallout 76. Fans should note, however, that this Pip-Boy is not being sold with the game. Fans who buy Fallout 76’s Power Armor Edition will get the Power Armor Helmet, but fans hoping to get a new constructible Pip-Boy will have to purchase it separately. The product is retailing for $150/£150, and will release on the 14th of November; the same day as Fallout 76.
