Bethesda Promotes New ESO Community Guides Released During September
Following on from last month, Bethesda has once again promoted around half-a-dozen videos created by their fan community. The Elder Scrolls Online guides were all released during the course of September. The promotion aligns with Bethesda’s ongoing policy of community promotion and engagement when it comes to The Elder Scrolls Online.
Elder Scrolls Online Guides in Bethesda’s September Showcase
Bethesda released a new showcase of ESO Community Guides yesterday on the game’s official website. The September showcase is divided into three sections. Beginner’s Guides features a general beginner’s guide video from Fextralife, which gives new players a rough overview of the game’s core features as of 2018. The section also includes a Guide to Fishing from LemonSauce, and a Target Skeleton Crafting Guide from Miss Bizz.
The Advanced Guides section starts off with a Power Level Enchanting guide created by Tianlein, which aims to help players get their Enchanting skill up to 50 as quickly as possible. The second promoted Advanced Guide is a Veteran Dungeon Guide for the Fungal Grotto 2 dungeon, released by Dottz Gaming. Third up is a similar dungeon guide for the Elden Hollow II dungeon, from YouTuber Xynode.
The final guide section focuses on Build guides. The first guide which Bethesda is promoting here is a Magicka Templar PvP build from Hack the Minotaur. Next is an Open World Magicka Nightblade build from Grimhallow, followed by a PvP Heavy Armour Stamina Dragonknight 1vX build from It’s a Lob.
The Community Guides series has been running for some time on the official Elder Scrolls Online website; a monthly showcase of recent community-created guides. In the last few months, Bethesda seems to have stepped up the studio’s focus on community support and promotion; they have brought more streamers into their affiliated Stream Team program, offered more Twitch Drops, etc. They have also featured more community content in online news and updates.
