Black Ops Cold War’s Newest Operator is a Drug Trafficking Warlord

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 2, just like the first season, features a selection of new Operators who will be joining either NATO or the Warsaw Pact. Thus far, only one has actually arrived; Naga, a ruthless Laotian warlord who smuggles weapons of mass destruction for Perseus.

Black Ops Cold War Operators: Naga

The launch of Black Ops Cold War’s first season saw the arrival of Stitch as a playable Operator; a fearsome adversary of Adler’s who was manufacturing chemical weapons for Perseus. Once again, the first new Operator from Season 2 is both a major villain and a Perseus agent. Kapano “Naga” Vang is described by Activision as; “A brutal, unstable lord of chaos,” who; “commands a major narcotics and weapons cartel that operates throughout the Golden Triangle, a remote border area encompassing the mountains and jungles along northwestern Laos.”

Ruling the cartel through fear, Naga is highly unstable, in part due to his own drug habits and long periods of isolation in the depths of the jungle. Despite this, he is still an incredibly powerful and dangerous individual. According to Activision, he sees his relationship with Perseus as one of simple business; Perseus’ vision of a new world would be good for his profits, in his view.

Gamers who want to play as Naga don’t need to do much to unlock him. He is available as a Warsaw Pact Operator as the Tier 0 reward in the Season 2 Battle Pass. Of course, he does have a few alternate skins which are a little harder to unlock. Naga has two Operator Missions, one in Multiplayer, and another in Zombies. Completing these will unlock four Legendary skins; Ashen Scale, Cobalt, Crimson Code, and Rattlesnake. Finally, Naga’s Legendary “Warlord” skin is available as the Tier 100 reward in the Season 2 Battle Pass. Reaching this rank also unlocks two further Operator Missions which unlock a final two alternate skins for the Laotian warlord.
