The Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest Event Ends Today

The ongoing Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest event, which began midway through last month, is due to end today. This time, the Halloween event has been live for a much shorter time than last year, when it was active for over a month. The event’s conclusion also comes ahead of the next DLC release, due later this month.

Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest Event Ends

The Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest event first ran last year as a Halloween event, and also as the game’s first-ever seasonal event. This year, the event returned in much the same way as last year, although with a shorter overall duration. Last year, Bloody Harvest lasted for over a month. This time, the event has only been active for a few weeks. The event offers players seasonal loot and cosmetics, as well as access to a special new area; Heck. In this area, players can face special event enemies and the seasonal boss, Captain Haunt.

With the end of the Bloody Harvest event, Borderlands 3’s next major event will be a new DLC release. Announced last month as part of a new Season Pass, the Designer’s Cut DLC is coming on the 10th of November, next week. Unlike the previous four story DLCs, this new content pack will be adding a new Skill Tree for each of the game’s four Vault Hunters. It will also include a new game mode, Arms Race, and other smaller content additions. It won’t, however, be including any major story content.

After this month’s DLC release, the next Borderlands 3 content launch won’t be until Spring of 2021. That launch will be the Director’s Cut DLC, the second half of this new Season Pass, although no major details have been announced about this DLC yet. Meanwhile, Gearbox fans can also look forward to the upcoming release of Godfall, a next-gen launch title and the start of a new IP.
