How and When to Watch the Borderlands 3 Gameplay Reveal Livestream
Following the release of two trailers and a lot of additional information, Gearbox is planning to hold a worldwide Borderlands 3 gameplay reveal on the 1st of May. The studio will be livestreaming the event at 10:00 AM PDT / 1:00 PM EDT / 6:00 PM BST. The stream will be available on the Borderlands Twitch channel as well as the game’s official website.
It’s currently unknown how long the stream will be, or what exactly will be shown. However, Gearbox have said that they plan to provide answers to some of the most common fan questions. They also plan to reveal details about the four playable Vault Hunters, loot, and interplanetary travel. Given what the studio has revealed so far, it sounds as though there will be a lot to cover! Recent figures suggest that Borderlands 3 could include more than 25 times as many guns as Borderlands 2, for instance. The stream may also provide more information about the new ‘radiation’ damage type, which is replacing slag.
Following the official gameplay reveal, it sounds as though fans won’t have to wait until E3 to see more. In fact, they may not have to wait long at all. Gearbox has said that; “hundreds of your favourite streamers,” will be streaming the game shortly after the reveal. Details are sparse for what exactly this means, but it could be that the studio has provided many streamers with an early access or demo version of the game.
