New Borderlands 3 Golden Key Released During the Borderlands Show
Earlier today, Gearbox released the third episode of their monthly ‘Borderlands Show,’ and along with it, details about their first upcoming campaign DLC. While the show focused on Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, it also included the release of another Borderlands 3 Golden Key code. Once again, players have a limited time to redeem this code, either in-game or via the SHiFT website.
Today’s New Borderlands 3 Golden Key Code
This new code comes hot on the heels of a Golden Key code which Randy Pitchford released on social media just a couple of days ago. That code has since expired. However, this new code should be available for at least a few days. (Gearbox did not clarify how long players would have to redeem it.) Whatever the case, today’s Borderlands 3 Golden Key code is; CJ5BT-6XRSH-X359C-STK33-BZHW5.
While the code will provide players with another in-game loot cache, the focus of today’s excitement was certainly the release of details about Borderlands 3’s first campaign DLC. Due to launch on the 19th of December, Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot will let players venture to a defunct Hyperion casino / space station built by Handsome Jack. There, they’ll face Hyperion robots and new bosses while helping Moxxi to carry out a heist. This will be the first full-fledged DLC release for the game, rather than a free event or content release.
While fans will have to wait until mid-December for the DLC, a new free content pack is coming to the game tomorrow. Takedown at Maliwan’s Blacksite, which launches on the 21st of November, is a high-difficulty ‘raid’-style mission designed for a team of four players. It will feature new Maliwan enemies and three new bosses, as well as exclusive loot. However, while it is free, players will need to have completed the main story in order to access it.
