Borderlands Museum of Mayhem Announced for San Diego Comic-Con

One week ahead of the upcoming event, Gearbox has announced that the studio plans to make a significant appearance at San Diego Comic-Con. In fact, beyond merely making an appearance, the studio have set up the Borderlands Museum of Mayhem“. Created in partnership with Nerdist, the ‘Museum’ is open to all and doesn’t require SDCC badges to enter.

According to Gearbox, in addition to Borderlands 3 concept art, the museum will feature displays of both official and fan art, as well as life-size character statues. The cosplay contest mentioned above will be taking place on the 20th of July and offers fans a chance to win both a Collector’s Edition of the game and a prop weapon. Additionally, the museum will feature a live muralist, a bar, a barbershop (of all things), and a meet and greet hosted by Nerdist. Members of the Vault Insider Program will also have a chance to score plenty of VIP points for in-game Borderlands 3 rewards.

The Borderlands Museum of Mayhem can be found at the Sparks Gallery in San Diego. The full address is 530 Sixth Ave, San Diego, CA 92101. The museum will be open on both Friday the 19th of July and Saturday the 20th from 12 PM to 8 PM PDT. It will also be open on Sunday the 21st. However, in this case, the museum will only be open between the hours of 12 PM and 5 PM PDT.
