Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 6 is now live across both Modern Warfare and Warzone, bringing with it a host of new content, including new Operators, new weapons, and new maps. One of the biggest additions this season is the Verdansk subway system, which offers Warzone players an all-new way to move around the map.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 6
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 6, together with its 100-tier Battle Pass, is now available for players of both Modern Warfare and Warzone. For the latter, the new Season introduces a major new subway system, as well as the Armored Royale variant game mode. Farah and Nikolai, both characters from Modern Warfare’s solo campaign, are also now available as Operators in both games. Much of the seasonal content is, however, reserved for Modern Warfare itself.
As per usual, the Season 6 Battle Pass gives players access to two new weapons; the AS VAL assault rifle and the SP-R 208 marksman rifle. Of course, it’s also packed with new weapon blueprints, cosmetics, and even something totally new; licensed music in the form of new War Tracks. Both of the new Operators are also included as part of the Season 6 Battle Pass. Players can unlock Farah at Tier 0, simply by purchasing the Battle Pass. Unlocking Nikolai, on the other hand, is considerably harder; the Russian Operator is only available as a reward at Tier 100.
Season 6 also includes four new maps for Modern Warfare. Mialstor Tank Factory and Broadcast are both standard-size maps, while Station is a new Gunfight map and Verdansk Riverside is available for Ground War. When it comes to modes, the launch of Season 6 only includes Killstreak Confirmed. However, a range of new or returning modes will be coming over the course of the next few weeks. These include Hard Point: Hills & Kills, Gun Game Team Deathmatch, HQ Firefight, Gunfight Tournaments, and Snipers-Only Team Deathmatch.
