The leaks continue for Call of Duty 2020, it seems, just days after a recent accidental leak of The Red Door; an upcoming alpha for the still-as-yet-unannounced Call of Duty 2020 title. This latest leak, which comes from datamining of The Red Door, may have revealed a full list of the upcoming game’s campaign missions.
Call of Duty 2020 Leak: The 13 Campaign Missions
The Call of Duty 2020 leak was recently posted online by CodTracker, and includes the names and settings of 13 different campaign missions. As always, we should mention that this leak is unconfirmed, and all online leaks should be taken with a grain of salt. (However, for what it’s worth, Call of Duty currently leaks like a sieve and many such leaks do eventually prove to be correct.) The 13 campaign missions, and their settings, are as follows. Fans should note that this is probably not the order in which they will actually appear in-game.
- K.G.B. (Russia)
- Siege (Russia)
- Yamantau (Side Mission)
- Takedown (Side Mission)
- Tundra (Side Mission)
- Hub (Germany)
- Hub 8 (Germany)
- Stakeout (Germany)
- Armada (Vietnam)
- Prisoner (Vietnam)
- Revolucion (Nicaragua)
- Amerika (Russia)
- Duga (Russia)
The list seemingly confirms a long-running rumour; that Vietnam will indeed feature as a setting. Early speculation about the game did suggest that it would be set in the Vietnam War. In fact, it now looks as though only a portion of the game will take place in Vietnam, with other portions in Russia, Germany, and a single foray to Nicaragua; all settings which make sense for the Cold War time period. (The game’s title has yet to be announced, but is expected to be ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’.)
Interestingly, the leak also revealed the titles of eight multiplayer maps from The Red Door alpha; Black Sea, Cartel, K.G.B., Miami, Moscow, Satellite, Tank, and Tundra. Some of these maps have featured in previous leaks, helping to corroborate this latest one. Additionally, the leak seemingly revealed that the game will feature a Zombies mode, with one map featuring in the alpha called Silver. Finally, the leak also mentions four zones for an upcoming Warzone map which may launch alongside Call of Duty 2020; Duga, Forest, Russia, and Ski Slopes.
