Even though Call of Duty Black Ops 4 isn’t arriving until October 12, new bits of information keep slipping out. If the latest reports are true, Black Ops 4’s season pass will cost $49.99, matching previous season pass prices. Not only that, but if you’re playing on consoles, you should set aside a hefty 100GB for the game download.
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Might Need A Lot of Hard Drive Space
As Black Ops 4 marketing materials are being rolled out, some fans have gotten their hands on physical game cases. Information on those cases reveals that 100GB of space will be required on both PS4 and Xbox One. However, those same cases are meant for display only, which means the 100GB listing could be inaccurate. Currently, the digital download size for the Xbox One version of Black Ops 4 is listed as 42GB. There is also a chance that the 100GB listing is taking into account day one patches and post-launch content.
Black Ops Pass Price
Additional reports from European retailer GAME UK point to a $49.99 price point for the Black Ops Pass. That price point isn’t surprising given how it lines up with the cost of previous Call of Duty season passes. It’s important to remember that Activision hasn’t disclosed a price for the Black Ops Pass at this time. Even if there’s no reason to doubt the information being reported, it’s still best to wait on official word first.
Since Black Ops 4 will retail for $59.99, fans can apparently save $10 by purchasing the $99.99 Digital Deluxe Edition. Along with the core game, the Digital Deluxe Edition comes with the Black Ops Pass packaged in. Here’s a recap of what’s included in the Black Ops Pass:
- “Classified” Zombies Map at Launch
- 12 MP Maps
- 4 Additional Zombies Experiences
- 4 Exclusive Blackout Characters
