Call of Duty Black Ops 4: CODE Salute Pack Available at Launch

In-store displays for Call of Duty Black Ops 4 are already going up in various retailers such as Walmart. Eagle-eyed fans who noticed those displays also noticed an optional piece of DLC that will be available on day one. Those who want to support real-life veterans will be able to purchase the game’s Call of Duty Endowment Salute Pack.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4's CODE Salute Pack will arrive alongside the main game.

Call of Duty Endowment Salute Pack Directly Supports Veterans

The Call of Duty Endowment (or CODE) is an Activision-run charity organization which helps veterans find high-quality civilian jobs. Previously, CODE-themed cosmetic DLC packs have been offered in select Call of Duty games, with proceeds benefiting CODE directly. The CODE packs offer specially themed cosmetic items, usually calling cards and weapon skins. The Call of Duty Salute Pack for Black Ops 4 looks like it will take a similar route. Those who purchase the pack will be able to use the following CODE-themed exclusive items:

  • Profile Calling Card
  • Profile Emblem
  • Unique Gesture
  • Salute Tag
  • Salute Sticker

The current assumption is that the CODE Salute DLC pack will be available on the same day as Black Ops 4 proper. Physical download cards for the pack are being placed on the same in-store displays as the main game. No price has been reported for the CODE Salute Pack yet, bit previously such packs have ranged from $4.99 to $9.99.

In other Black Ops 4 news, fans can score double XP codes by purchasing select Pringles products. The promotion is limited to Walmart stores for the time being but that could change in the near future. Activision is hosting the promotion until this upcoming December so there’s plenty of time to grab codes.

Treyarch has also been slowly teasing new Black Ops 4 multiplayer maps ahead of the game’s October 12 launch. One of the game’s new original maps will be an urban combat zone called Morocco.
