What is the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 EKIA stat? This is a question that a lot of BO4 players are wondering right now. Now that the game has been out for a good bit, statistics are becoming more important. One of the key stats that Black Ops 4 notes for each player is the EKIA. As such, it is important to know what it means and is.
Unfortunately, the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 EKIA stat is one that wasn’t featured in all of the previous COD titles. This can make understanding this somewhat new stat a challenge. That’s where we come in. We are going to go over what this stat is, what it means for you, and how you can check yours right here.
What is Call of Duty Black Ops 4 EKIA?
The Black Ops 4 EKIA stat is an important one, especially for the online leaderboards. In a way, it replaces the traditional “kill” stat that is so important to players. While you can certainly check your traditional KD ratio, that isn’t as important in BO4. What is important is your EKIA stat.
EKIA stands for “enemies killed in action.” While that might sound like it’s just a fancier way of saying kills, that isn’t the case. That’s because the Black Ops 4 EKIA stat takes both the kills you’ve dealt and your assists into account. Essentially, if you help bring down an opponent, it will be counted in this stat.
You can check your Black Ops 4 EKIA stat by going to the multiplayer mode, then the menu, then the Barracks tab. It’s here that you can see this somewhat controversial statistic. It does muddy the waters a little in terms of kills and such but it is helpful for alleviating the problem of people stealing your kills like in previous COD games.
