Call of Duty Black Ops 4 developer Treyarch has released the patch notes for the game’s October 23 update. Along with introducing a Mercenary playlist, the update also fixes a number of bugs and Black Market issues.
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 October 23 Update Patch Notes
The full patch notes for the October 23 game update can be found below. The update adds in a number of new featured playlists, including the previously mentioned Mercenary Capture Moshpit playlist. Black Market tier progression issues have also been addressed.
Treyarch outlined a series of issues it is still investigating and planning to address in a future game update. Such issues include Blackout audio problems, Blackout Quads playlist performance, and Zombies matches ending prematurely if the host player leaves. Solutions for those issues haven’t yet been found but Treyarch says it will let players know of any new developments.
In other Black Ops 4 news, Treyarch is also still actively working on the game’s server issues. Reports say the October 23 game update bumped the game’s multiplayer refresh rate from 20hz to 30hz. The ideal goal is to reach the same 60hz that was active during Black Ops 4’s beta period.
