The new addition to the Call of Duty franchise is available at E3 2018, its multiplayer mode at least. Treyarch has revealed the four Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Maps that will be playable during the event along with Control, a new best-of-7 multiplayer mode.
The news come from Reddit, where Treyarch revealed more information about the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 demo at E3 2018. Even though the company has already had invitations for playtesting handed out to community members, they encourage fans to swing by the Ctivision booth at South Hall #1001 and try the game.
Here are the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Maps available for playtesting at E3 2018:
- Frequency: A covert listening station deep in the mountainous region of Hunan Province is being used to track strategic targets across the globe.
- Contraband: Surveillance of an international arms smuggling operation has uncovered this shipping hub on a remote, uncharted island off the coast of Colombia.
- Seaside: An anti-government protest in this quaint coastal Spanish town grew out of control and forced a military shutdown.
- Payload: A defensive ICBM launch facility deep in an Icelandic mountain range has been infiltrated by hostile forces attempting to steal a nuclear warhead.
Apart from the aforementioned Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Maps, a new mode called Control will be available for playtesting. Control pits attacking and defending teams against one another in a best-of-7 face-off designed to bring out the best in Black Ops 4 tactical gameplay.
The maps revealed above are not the only ones in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 though. A total of 9 map have leaked recently, including remade maps from previous titles along with brand new ones.
