The Nuketown map is a fan favorite so it’s no surprise that players are asking when it will be coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The beloved multiplayer map has been featured in every single game in the series. Released initially on the original Black Ops, it has been featured in every mainline Black Ops title since.
As such, it’s a no-brainer to expect to see a Black Ops 4 Nuketown map. Thankfully, developer Treyarch has already confirmed that it is indeed coming. Unfortunately, though, the game launched and the map is still nowhere to be seen. That’s because the map is actually coming after the launch. Here’s what we know.
Black Ops 4 Nuketown Release Date
Unfortunately, we don’t have an exact release date just yet for this map. Players are eagerly anticipating the return of it but it’s still nowhere to be seen almost a month after launch. Here’s what we do know, though, in the meantime. Treyarch has announced that it would be releasing this month in November. However, no specific release date was ever given so we don’t know which part of the month.
Most likely, though, Treyarch will want to release the Black Ops 4 Nuketown map in the first half of November. There are a lot of games coming out later this month including competitor Battlefield V so it would make sense to get it out early. This will allow for a lot more buzz surrounding the game even a month after its release in October.
As such, it would make sense for a Black Ops 4 Nuketown release date announcement either this week or the next. Regardless, we won’t have to wait much longer to play this classic in its latest incarnation. It remains to be seen what the style of the map will be this time around.
