Activision and Treyarch recently launched Operation Apocalypse Z, the latest content release for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. This major new phase of content introduces a new Specialist, new maps, new Black Market content, and a whole lot more. If you’ve never played Black Ops 4, there is a new way to get into the game and its latest content; the newly announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 – Operation Apocalypse Z Edition.
What’s in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 – Operation Apocalypse Z Edition?
Coinciding with the launch of Operation Apocalypse Z, Activision and Treyarch have announced the launch of the new edition, marketing the new content to players who haven’t yet picked up last year’s Call of Duty. “Are you ready to jump into Black Ops 4 for the first time?” asks Activision, in their latest blog entry; “There’s never been a better time to face down the undead, as well as battling Multiplayer and Blackout rivals.”
If you purchase the new Operation Apocalypse Z Edition of Black Ops 4, you’ll get the full game plus a variety of extra content. Firstly, you get the Apocalypse Z Survival Pack. This contains the Danny Trejo Blackout character, the ‘Bullet’ Weapon Charm, 5 Reserve Crates, and the Savage Hide Jump Pack. Also included in the edition is a Specialist Outfit for all of the game’s Specialists, a special gesture, and a Calling Card, Emblem, Sticker, and Tag all inspired by the Black Ops 4 skull emblem.
With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare due to release in November, this may be the last major new edition for Black Ops 4. As such, now may be an ideal time for players who never delved into Black Ops 4 to give the game a chance ahead of the upcoming release. After all, the game has plenty more content than it did at launch in 2018.
