There are so many characters you can unlock in Blackout like Woods and Nikolai. However, one of the newest and hardest characters to unlock is Mason, the protagonist of the original Black Ops. This is because, in order to unlock him, you must find and wake the Black Ops 4 Sleeper Agent. This is an extremely vague and unexplained objective you have to do.
The Black Ops 4 Sleeper Agent makes unlocking Mason as a Blackout character much harder than it certainly needs to be. It’s already pretty difficult to unlock him considering some of the requirements but this doesn’t make it any easier. In fact, the worst part is all has to be done in the same match. However, that’s where we come in. Here’s what you need to do.
What is the Black Ops 4 Sleeper Agent?
As you are going about trying to unlock Mason in Blackout, you will find yourself left with the objective of waking the Sleeper Agent. But what is the agent? Is it a person? A thing? Worse, where do you even find it? Even worse than that, how do you actually wake it? Do you kill it? These are all understandable questions players are asking.
Thankfully, it’s pretty simple to complete once you know what the Black Ops 4 Sleeper Agent is. First and foremost, you are going to want to head to the Array area on the map. Once you arrive here, you are going to want to head to the main building in the middle of the area.
Once you head inside this building, you are going to want to locate the glowing green console. This console is the Black Ops 4 Sleeper Agent… for some reason. After you have found it, you are going to want to “wake it” by interacting with it using the X or square button on your platform of choice.
