There is a brand Call of Duty Black Ops 4 update today that is available on all platforms. Alongside the update, Treyarch has released the full set of patch notes. The notes detail this update that is mostly focused on Zombies mode. However, there are some key fixes for Blackout, too, that are worth checking out.
The Black Ops 4 update today isn’t like most updates in games like Fortnite. Instead of you actually downloading an update on your console or PC, the update happens within the game itself. When you log in, the game will take a moment to download the update. You will see the percentage download in the menu, similar to what Final Fantasy XIV has done before.
Even though it is a small enough update to do inside the game, this Black Ops 4 update today is still important. You can find the entire patch notes from Treyarch below:

Weapon Tuning

We’ve seen comments and requests around general weapon tuning since launch. We take weapon tuning very seriously and put any proposed tweaks through rigorous internal testing before we consider a change to the game. With that said, we’ve captured a massive amount of input and stats since October 12th, and we’re currently making a tuning pass for a major update coming soon. Stay tuned.
