Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies Will Include Five Factions To Impact Progress
During Comic-Con, more information about Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies has emerged. Not only did we get a new collector’s edition and trailer, but also we got to find out that the mode will include five different factions.
We still don’t know how much of an impact the new factions will have to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies gameplay, but as the developers revealed, it will affect progress and maybe story branching. Treyarch revealed 5 factions: Bloodfaith, Tempus Novi, Dustborn or The First Legion.
Here’s the full statement about Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies factions, as stated on Activision’s blog:
First, there will be Factions in Black Ops 4 Zombies, complete with their own quests and narratives. These Factions will add another dimension to the story, as players choose to side with the Bloodfaith, Tempus Novi, Dustborn or The First Legion. Blundell added that these Factions will add a new layer to the Zombies experience, “Who do you stand with, and what does that mean as you progress along that path?”
After the announcement, CharlieIntel took the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies matter to Twitter, revealing some information about the settings of Voyage of Despair and IX. He said:
Treyarch says they did extensive research on the Titanic and Voyage of Despair map is based on actual blue prints of it. Food on the table is also identical to what was on actual ship. Also stated on stream that IX takes place around BC80.
In addition to the three main chapters, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies will get more content after its release. Treyarch revealed that it will be either through the game’s Season Pass or through free updates. Make sure to check the released trailers for the mode to catch a glimpse of its story and gameplay.
