Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 5
Like previous seasons, Call of Duty Season 5 will be bringing a wide range of new content for both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone on the day of release, with additional content also coming later in the season. The headline feature of the new season appears to be a new Multiplayer mode called Double Agent. This new mode promises a totally different multiplayer experience, with a focus on investigation and deceit.
Of course, Multiplayer fans can also look forward to plenty of additional new content. No less than five new maps are coming in Season 5, including two from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops. Echelon, Showroom, Slums will be available at launch, with Drive-In and Zoo coming later in the season. Players will also be able to get their hands on five new weapons. The EM2 Assault Rifle and TEC-9 SMG will be in the Season 5 Battle Pass, with the Cane and Marshal coming mid-season. A new Flamethrower Scorestreak will also be available to use at launch.
Zombies, meanwhile, will be getting its own content expansion in Season 5. Outbreak will be getting a new region, Collateral, along with a new piece of equipment – the Grapple Gun. Finally, Outbreak will even be getting an actual Tank, giving players a heavy-duty weapon to use against the undead. As per usual, Warzone has its own new content offerings in the new season, in addition to the new weapons and Operators. A new Gulag layout will be coming at launch, along with two new Perks; Combat Scout and Tempered. Players will also be able to find new Mobile Broadcast Stations in Verdansk.
