Call of Duty: Mobile Celebrates Warzone Launch with Special Event
With the launch yesterday of Call of Duty: Warzone, Activision has added a third Call of Duty battle royale game to its roster of active titles. Over in its second addition, Call of Duty: Mobile is running a special event to celebrate the Warzone launch, giving players the chance to recruit a Task Force 141 Soldier to their team.
The Warzone Launch Call of Duty: Mobile Event
With the launch of Warzone, the Call of Duty series has gotten its third version of battle royale in the last two years, following the release of Blackout and Call of Duty: Mobile. While the former’s time may be waning as Warzone takes over, especially given that Warzone is available for free, the latter is still going strong. To celebrate the latest launch, Call of Duty: Mobile is offering its players a chance to get a special exchange coin. However, you’ll need to have Call of Duty: Warzone in order to claim it.
To take part in this Call of Duty: Mobile event, you simply need to download Call of Duty: Warzone (on any platform) and log in with the same Call of Duty account which you use for Call of Duty: Mobile. In essence, you just need to play both games on the same account. Within 72 hours of you doing this, you should receive the exchange coin, which will arrive in your Call of Duty: Mobile mailbox.
Once you have the exchange coin, head for the Events menu. There should be an event listing called “Task Force 141 – Warzone,” and this event should give you the option to exchange your coin to get any one of three different Task Force 141 soldiers. You can either get Ghost – Stealth, Gaz, or Captain Price. Note that if you haven’t actually linked a Call of Duty account to Call of Duty: Mobile, doing so for the first time automatically unlocks the Outrider – Arctic soldier too.
