The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Multiplayer Reveal Trailer
The new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer trailer gives fans a much more varied and explosive look at multiplayer in the upcoming title. Until now, fans had only seen gameplay for Gunfight; a frenetic new 2v2 multiplayer mode. While that mode did get a positive reception, it was clearly only a small part of the multiplayer whole in Modern Warfare. The trailer features glimpses of tanks, juggernaut armour, aircraft, drones, and plenty more besides.
Of course, fans can look forward to plenty more information coming about the various Modern Warfare multiplayer modes soon too. The press embargo has lifted now, meaning that numerous content creators are free to release early-access footage and more. Activision is also planning to release plenty of new information via a series of blog takeovers on the official Activision Call of Duty blog. That will be taking place throughout the next week.
Finally, Activision also took the opportunity to announce an upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta. A beta was certainly expected by fans, although a purported leak revealing the dates has now been proven inaccurate. The leak had claimed that the beta would begin towards the end of August. However, it has now been confirmed that it will begin in mid-September, on the 12th-3th and then the 14th-16th. These first two sets of dates will be exclusive to PS4. Two further sets of dates will then take place, opening up access to PC and Xbox One.
