Activision has now announced the first Alpha event for Call of Duty: Vanguard, which will be taking place this coming weekend. However, this event will only feature a limited look at a single Multiplayer mode. Shortly thereafter, the worldwide reveal of Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Multiplayer will be unveiled in early September.
The Call of Duty: Vanguard Multiplayer Reveal
The Call of Duty: Vanguard Multiplayer Alpha, due to take place from the 27th to the 29th of August, will give PlayStation gamers their first chance to play Champion Hill. This new game mode is a new expansion on the now well-established Gunfight Tournament format. However, this will be the only mode available to play during the event, and not all features will be accessible.

Just over one week after the Alpha concludes, fans will get their first look at the larger Multiplayer coming in Call of Duty: Vanguard. This worldwide multiplayer reveal will take place on Tuesday the 7th of September. Most likely, this event will include the release of a reveal trailer showcasing Multiplayer gameplay. It may also include the release of a blog post detailing the upcoming modes and maps. However, Activision has not said one way or another what the reveal will cover.
Whatever the case, just a few days later, the first Call of Duty: Vanguard Open Beta will begin. This event will take place over two weekends. The first weekend, from the 10th to the 13th of September, will only be available to play on PlayStation for players with Early Access. On the 16th and 17th, those with Xbox and PC Early Access will be able to play, alongside all PlayStation users. From the 18th to the 20th, the event will be fully open to all. To get Early Access to the Open Beta, players must simply pre-order the upcoming game.
