Just one week after the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone, Activision and Infinity Ward have already rolled out their first new content release for the game; the launch of a new solos mode. At present, it’s unknown whether The Call of Duty: Warzone Solos mode is a permanent addition, but whether or not, it’s now live for players to try.
The New Call of Duty: Warzone Solos Mode
When Call of Duty: Warzone first launched, the game was available to play in squads only, in both the Battle Royale and Plunder game modes. However, the new Warzone Solos mode gives players the choice to head into Verdansk on their own. The launch comes alongside a playlist update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which itself is part of Infinity Ward’s latest patch.
In addition to the Warzone Solos Mode, Modern Warfare players have a few new modes and playlists to try out. Cranked Kill Confirmed and Mercenary Moshpit are now live, for instance, along with a 10v10 Atlas Superstore 24/7 playlist. The Gunfight mode has even gotten a bit of St. Patrick’s Day theming, though that’s likely to be temporary. Indeed, as the playlists continue to shift and change over time, any of these modes could disappear. As such, gamers should play their fill sooner rather than later.
Finally, the new Playlist Update launched today as part of a general patch for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone. This patch mainly addresses bug reports for Warzone which have emerged in its first week. For instance, Infinity Ward has fixed a bug which could cause players who leave the Gulag to gain increased speed. Additionally, players should no longer get stuck under Buy Stations in Verdansk. For a full list of the individual fixes in the patch, be sure to check the official patch notes.
