CD Projekt Red Could Start Selling Cyberpunk 2077 Merch Soon

Earlier this month, CD Projekt Red made the announcement that the studio will soon be opening an official merchandise store. Although CD Projekt, the studio’s parent company, already has an online game storefront through GOG.com, this will be the first official store for physical merchandise, presumably including both The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 merch.

Cyberpunk 2077 Merch and More Could Soon be Available from CD Projekt Red

While there has been plenty of both unofficial and officially-licensed Witcher merchandise available in the last few years (from vinyls to notebooks and a whole lot besides), CD Projekt has never had an actual store of its own; merchandise has always been sold through independent retailers. The decision to launch a merch store now certainly makes it seem likely that Cyberpunk 2077 merch will feature heavily; fans have been calling for Cyberpunk 2077 merch for quite some time. As CD Projekt prepares for what will reportedly be their biggest E3 ever, getting a store opened and stocked seems like a good idea.

Cyberpunk 2077 Merch Could be Available in New CD Projekt Red Store

When the announcement was made, CD Projekt Red said that the store would open in “the following weeks”. However, the studio has released no further updates since. As such, it’s still unknown when it might actually open. It’s also unknown what exactly the store will sell; CD Projekt Red haven’t revealed any details about their merchandise yet. They did clarify online that it will be physical merchandise as opposed to anything digital.

For now, fans of the studio will have to wait patiently. However, it’s highly likely that CD Projekt Red will want to get their new store up and running (and well-tested) ahead of E3. After all, a big appearance with Cyberpunk 2077 is likely to cause a spike in searches for Cyberpunk 2077 merch. No doubt the studio will want to know that their store can handle it.
