Check Out the Official Cyberpunk 2077 Official Launch Trailer

Cyberpunk 2077 is mere days away from its release date on the 10th of December, and ahead of the release, CD Projekt Red has today unveiled the game’s official launch trailer; quite possibly the final trailer before players get their hands on Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 Launch Trailer & Release

The official Cyberpunk 2077 launch trailer reveals even more never-before-seen gameplay footage from the upcoming title; all set to a cover of SAMURAI’s Never Fade Away by P.T. Adamczyk and Olga Jankowska. The original track was written for the game and was the first song to be released by CD Projekt Red for the in-game band SAMURAI; the band whose lead singer is Johnny Silverhand. This new cover takes a different style to the song, and may very well prove to be in-game as well.

Early reviews for Cyberpunk 2077 have been emerging over the course of the last couple of days, and unsurprisingly, most have been extremely positive. The game has already raked in a whole range of 9/10, 9.5/10, and other high scores. However, that’s not to say that the game is without fault. Indeed, a great many of the early reviews note that Cyberpunk 2077 suffers from a plethora of minor bugs and graphical glitches; weapons floating in mid-air, vehicles glitched into one another, overlapping dialogue, objects not loading into cutscenes, and so on.

Fortunately, it seems that these bugs are generally not game-breaking; hence why they largely haven’t impacted the game’s review scores much. It remains to be seen what the fan response will be to this on launch day. Indeed, for many, it may be nothing more than a mild irritation that they’re happy to look past. However, given the response to buggy launches in the past, there could be at least a small backlash. (Especially given the lengthy delays to the Cyberpunk 2077 release date.) While there is a launch day patch on the way, that update is reportedly focused on stability and performance rather than widespread bug-fixing. As such, CD Projekt Red will likely need to shift their efforts to debugging for the rest of the year.
