Chicago Bears to Host Kickoff Experience for NFL Opener Presented by EA’s Madden 20
The NFL regular season is just about a week away with the Chicago Bears set to take on the Green Bay Packers for the NFL opener. Ahead of the big game, the team is hosting a special event called Kickoff Experience presented by EA Sports’ Madden 20. It’ll feature plenty of events for the fans to participate in or witness, culminating with a watch party for the big game.
Madden 20 involved with Chicago Bears’ Kickoff Experience
The big event takes place next Thursday in Chicago’s Grant Park which is conveniently near Soldier Field, the home stadium of the Bears. Starting at noon local time, the team will have a number of football-related events going on. It ultimately culminates with a big watch party for the NFL’s first official game of the 2019-20 regular-season schedule.
The events include a Mini-Madden 20 Tournament which will run through the day. A mock NFL Combine will be available for fans to test their skills. There will also be photo and autograph opportunities. The Bears’ Super Bowl trophy will be there for photo ops. Bears legends will also be at the Autograph Stage including Jim McMahon, Matt Forte, and Charles Tillman.
Of those players, we recently saw Madden 20 Theme Diamonds unveiled in the past few weeks. The Chicago Bears are represented by Tillman in that program. Gamers must build a set of 28 different player cards to earn 88 OVR Charles Tillman for their Ultimate Team. Among the required players are current roster members including Mitchell Trubisky, Roquan Smith, and Cordarrelle Patterson.
In the Madden 20 game, the Chicago Bears feature an overall rating of 84 overall. They also include a Superstar player in cornerback Kyle Fuller and two Superstar X-Factor players with FS Eddie Jackson and LB Khalil Mack. Of those players, Mack is one of the four players in the game who has a 99 overall Madden rating.
They’ll be on the field next Thursday, September 5 against the Packers. The Bears’ Kickoff Experience next week will end up with a watch party for the game, starting at 7 p.m. local time. That’s when the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers will officially kick off the new NFL season. It’s the first official game of the schedule. Fans are certainly ready to see another season of the game as Madden 20 season also unfolds!
