Way back in Season 4, Fortnite players were greeted with what seemed like an unsolvable mystery in the form of a chest underneath the ice cream truck at Dusty Divot. Attempts to open the Dusty Divot chest initially failed because there was no way to reach it. The HP on the truck was too high. Some players have claimed that they did reach the chest, but no one ever posted a video to prove it.
Epic Games then dropped the HP to 200 points. This didn’t help, even though you would think that it would. It became possible to destroy the truck, but the chest went with it. Now, one clever player has engineered a brilliant workaround and discovered what is inside.

Instead of attempting to destroy the truck, he took an entirely different approach. He phased with the help of a Shadow Stone, and then launched off a ramp for the truck. He then simply took a look inside with the help of the phase ability. Now, why didn’t anyone else think of that?
Now, the big disappointment is that there was nothing noteworthy inside the chest at all. Everything inside was completely mundane. Was this is because these were “placeholder” items while Epic was working on putting something exciting inside (to be revealed at a later date)? Or is it just that the joke is on us?
