A strong cast of influential people in the video game industry has been spotted roaming around the headquarters of Kojima Productions, leaving notes on the kitchen wall and snapping pictures with Homo Ludens. Most recently, famous host Conan O’Brien has been invited by Hideo Kojima and, as they teased, they shot a “super secret project” that will be revealed soon.
The news comes from Twitter, where Conan O’Brien has posted a photo of him and Hideo Kojima in the Homo Ludens corridor, next to the iconic statue. The caption reads “Shot something super secret with #HideoKojima. Coming soon. #ConanJapan“. There’s no more information to go around besides that, so everything we speculate is at our own discretion.

As you might already know, Conan O’Brien is the host of a funny gaming series called Clueless Gamer. The series has been inactive for a couple of months now, but we can’t help but get excited about the idea of it coming back with Death Stranding. However, there’s no indication that this is really happening, so it might be something else entirely.
Could O’ Brien be featured in Death Stranding? We highly doubt so but with Hideo Kojima holding the ropes, anything can happen. The caption points out that the project will be revealed soon so, for now, we just wait.
In addition, Death Stranding will be coming to Tokyo Game Show 2018, in a few days. Hideo Kojima has teased that this might be the biggest show for the game, with cast and the team being present in the venue. Is this the time for the game to shine?
Since Sony now has Spider-Man out of the picture, with outstanding reviews and only the best words for it from the community, Death Stranding can walk into the spotlight. If you ask us, we bet a release date and gameplay video are just around the corner. Fingers crossed and wait until Tokyo Game Show 2018.
