Some gamers might remember the announcement of the video game Control by Remedy Entertainment. For those who don’t, Control is an action game that was announced during last year’s E3. Furthermore, the title has become one of the most promising game releases of the current year. As such, players have been wondering when the game will release.
Well, that question has been answered by Remedy Entertainment a few days ago. While there isn’t an exact date as of yet, Remedy has confirmed a launch window for Control. The release window for the game will actually cover the launches of the Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 versions of the game.
Control Launches on Summer of This Year
Remedy Entertainment plans on releasing Control sometime during the summer of this year. For those who need some further clarification, the game will be releasing at some point between June and September. As such, players won’t have to wait long to see what Remedy has to offer on the game.
Control will be releasing for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It will put players on the role of Jesse Faden. Her mission will be to investigate a few “Odd” events that have been happening throughout her life. The character is going to be portrayed by US actress Courtney Hope.
The game will have additional story DLC. However, the game will also not have any sort of microtransactions according to Remedy. For those in need of a refresher, here’s the trailer that was revealed by Remedy Entertainment on last year’s E3:
