Gaming on a laptop on the couch can be a problem if you do not have a product like the Couchmaster CYCON² – Titan Edition to help you out. A typical lap desk tends to be way too low, and trying to build something yourself is a major hassle (trust me, I’ve tried).
As a person with chronic migraines, straining my back, shoulders and neck gaming is just a no-go. That’s why I was so happy to find out about Couchmaster products. In fact, in the past, I got to test out the CYBOT model, and loved it. That product had a desk measuring 75 cm x 33 cm. So, at 82 cm x 33 cm, this one is actually a bit bigger. That makes it suitable even if you have a large laptop. You can also set your PC mouse and keyboard on it.
Setup
This is a straightforward product consisting of a pair of cushioned armrests and a lapboard over top of them. So, setup is a breeze. In fact, if you don’t have cables to run, you just sit down with it on the couch and open your laptop on top.
If you do have cables to run, you can use the built-in cable management system to keep them tidy. I did find this a little bit cumbersome to access, but once I had everything all set up, I loved it.
Materials and Construction
The manufacturer really pulled out all the stops when it comes to materials and construction. The name “Titan Edition” refers directly to the titanium used in some of this product’s components. So, to say this thing is solid is an understatement. I also loved the luxurious texture of the genuine Nappa leather handcrafted cushion covers. I can tell that the Titan Edition was built to last.
Ergonomics and Comfort
Now, for me, the biggest test of this product was how it would make me feel when I was using it. Like I said before, I have chronic pain. So, if I am sitting in a less-than-ideal posture, I feel it fast.
I am happy to report that as with the CYBOT I tested, I found the CYCON² – Titan Edition very comfortable. I was able to sit in a natural position that didn’t force me to lean my back and neck way forward or hunch my shoulders. It was better for my wrists as well, which is important to me since I do a lot of typing for work.
I have been able to enjoy longer gaming sessions while using this product than I could if I just tried to use a regular lapboard.

You can put remote controls and other small items in there so that you do not have to get up as often while you are gaming. There is even a mouse bag and self-adhesive Velcro tape you can use for your peripherals.

Cons of the Couchmaster CYCON² – Titan Edition:
- The Velcro is not as useful as it could be. Ironically, that is because the leather is so high in quality, so they don’t stick together well.
- Accessing the cable management system is not as fast and easy it could be. But if you are not regularly unplugging things and moving them around, it is not an issue.
Final Verdict:
As much as I loved trying out the CYBOT, the CYCON² – Titan Edition took my couch gaming experience to the next level. The materials are sumptuous, the design is smart, and the dimensions are a lot more roomier, making this product suitable for most users—even those who may have passed on the CYBOT due to having too large a laptop.
